Topic: felt window trim channel 41 ford bussiness coupe

I am installing new glass , guide channels , glass run channels and the frame window channels.
That was all the good news , I am having difficulty with the clips provided in the kit for the window channel, am thinking that pop rivets might just be the answer.
Any thoughts , video clip links , would be appreciated.

We use pop rivets for many applications. Properly sized , they are certainly easier to manage than very small screws. Just make sure the flat side of the fastener faces the glass.. They also work well to replace a worn or missing front vent glass pivot. Just be sure to place a removable shim between the bracket on the window and the one on the car. This prevent locking the window frame from pivoting. We use thin cardboard for that. Pop rivets are also useful when installing floorboard or trunk patches.

Thank You for responding, the info is very helpful !
I suppose there must be a special tool to get the clips to work, I sure could not seem to get them installed.
I forged ahead, and have one side installed with pop rivets , figured if there was a better way I could always drill them out.
Thank you once more...…..
