Can anyone tell me the procedure to set the radio stations in my radio. When the signal seeker is on M, I can tune a station and when I hit the signal seeker, it will find the station again when it gets back to M. On the M, I can pull the tuner out and adjust the station. When it is on 1 through 5, I cannot pull out the tuner and adjust to another station. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong. I did a search on the internet but cannot find anything that tells me how to set a station for the automatic seeker. Thanks in advance for the responses.

Many late 40's Fords were equipped with the "Wonderbar" radio, including my own '47. That model had always been somewhat troublesome, and mine was no exception. In our area, an AM only radio is hardly usable. I had it converted to AM/FM. The appearance wasn't changed, and now the Wonderbar is used to change from one band to the other. It is "solid state" now, with no tubes, vibrator, or static.
