Topic: Stupid swiss law

  Hi,

I'm a swiss classic car restorer and have sometimes to deal with the swiss traffic law when we have to check the cars from the goverment.
So my Problem at this time is a 1931 Model A with a mid 40's V8 engine in it.
We let them check from the goverment since years, every time passed thru.
But this year they realized thats to wrong engine for a 31. That's not ok in switzerland to put a other engine in a car.
The big Exeption is when companys, restorer, hot rodder did it in the past. But then you have to bring photos, articles or even a history.

So i have now to bring any proof that's not that wrong to put a flathead in a Model A.

So if you guys can help me with any photos or article from someone who put a flathead in a original Model A i would appreciate that.

Regards

Fabian

You can find many posts and pictures of Model A's with flatheads using the search function on the HAMB: https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forums/the-hokey-ass-message-board.5/
