Anyone who's won a Dearborn with a 1950 Ford -the part's book calls for a lot of washers on bolts to be "S2" or raven finish. Is that correct?

Which parts book is specifying the S2 finish? Most washers on a '50 are S7 (cad) or S8 (zinc). Ken

In the 1949-1950-1951-1952 Passenger car Chassis Parts asnd Accessories Catalog. Such things as horn brackets, engine thermostat housing bolts, coil bracket bolts, engine draft tube clamp bolts, etc. Thanks.
