Need help installing rear quarter windows. Having difficulty connecting regulator to window.

I have just gone through this same thing with my 37 quarter windows, so I may be able to help. 37 and 38 2-door quarter windows use the same regulator. Its a tedious, multi-step process, and I don't know where along the process you ran up against a problem. (What I found most aggravating was working through the small access hole in the body to manipulate the regulator's two spring-loaded slide pins into the lower glass channel) Might be difficult for me to help through back and forth posts, might be better to have a phone conversation. Thanks for the info. However, the rear quarter window removal and installation is quite different than the door window. My problem is installing the quarter windows.

Sorry. Didn't realize the '38 2dr had rear quarter windows. My '40 doesn't.
