Does anyone know where I can buy an adaptor to be able to put my 51 ford flat head v8 engine on my engine stand?

For the later Ford Passenger car Flathead V-8's (1949 and newer) you will not need a special adapter to mount the engine to your engine stand. You can bolt the engine directly to the stand by using the bellhousing mounting threaded holes.

carcrazy is correct. No need for special adapter on the 49 or later motors as the bell housing is separate from the block. The adapter was for support on the early motor as the bell housing was part of the block and could crack without the added support.

My flatheads are all earlier, with the integral bell housing,,nevertheless this will work. I built my own, works great.
Take a plate of 1/4 ", shape it to fit on side over ex. Drill holes matching the ex, and weld it to a tube that fit my particular engine stand. Works great.
