Finally got the boot from Lebaron after 3 1/2months. Looks great but they didn't include instructions on where to attach the fasteners. I've actually never seen a boot on a roadster so I thought I would check with the club for any help or guidance so I don't screw it up. Any help or directions/instructions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dennis

When I had a boot made for my '47 convertible, I carefully measured the edge of the boot and laid out positions for both the boot and the snaps on the body. The distance between the snaps is about 8 inches. I also installed snaps to anchor the boot on the forward side where possible. Previous experience taught me that driving with the top down will allow the air to get under the boot an release it from the snaps. Some early cars didn't have a boot, but it improves the appearance when the top os down, and provides protection from tree sap, birds, dirt, etc. If you are not comfortable with doing the installation, most good auto trim shops know how.
