I bought a 1939 Ford Tudor project. Not really a basket case but a lot of the details were not on the car. I was trying to get the column lock to work. I notoced that the column had 2 openings near where the lock is. One is a rectangle the other has round ends. Which one goes at the top. The lock works either way but I figure it was designed that way for a reason. Thanks, Bill Slow progress is better than no progress!

Rectangle on the bottom - to allow the bolt that tightens the assembly to pass through. Top hole allows clearance for the the lock plunger This message was edited by Chris.NZ on 1-9-19 @ 11:48 AM
