Hello all, I am intending to swap my current 4.11 ratio ring gear and pinion out for a 3.54 ratio. I found a ring gear and pinion on Early Ford V8 Sales https://www.parts123.com/parts123/dyndetail.pta?acclink=0000019a04363 and was wondering whether anyone has had any experience with either this product or company. Would any cutting/grinding or modifications be needed for this or is it an easy replacement? Thanks in advance Joshua

You should add your general location to your profile. Maybe you are close to some that knows how to set up these rear ends. Charlie Stephens

I buy a lot of parts from these guys, always easy to do business with, stand behind their products and have good service if there is some sort of issue.

There should be no cutting or grinding, but you will need to set the gear mesh and preload. The instructions are in the Service Notes. I am not familiar with the 34, but it may have a different spline than the one adverised. Tom
