Don't forget to watch the 130th Annual Rose Parade January 1. The car carrying the Grand Marshal will be Jay Harris' 1939 Ford Convertible! Over 130 million folks watching on TV will see Jay and his car and promote the Early Ford V-8 Club. Watch for coverage in the March/April 2019 V-8 TIMES!

Here's another picture of Jay driving his 1939 Convertible in the parade. This was a dream come true for Jay. Unfortunately the TV coverage "glossed" over any mention of the car or Jay. I'll have an article in the March/April issue about the experience - how he applied, the chances of being chosen (came down to how many passengers the Grand Marshal wanted). He even built special steps to make it easier for the 70+ Shaka Khan to get in to the rumble seat.
