Can someone tell me what the spindle centerline dimension measured on the top side of the axle is. Also can you tell me what the perch hole spacing is. I am trying to piece a 47 coupe back together and do not have the original axle and the one I bought used seems too wide. Thanks in advance for the replies.

The 42 to 48 Fords had the widest axles of all the early V-8s. I found dimensions on the internet that I make no claim for the correctness of. Overall width 52" Radius rod holes 40 3/4" O.C. Keep in mind that in addition to the axle the radius rods are probably wider.
