Can anyone end pictures of a bare steel 1941 Ford car running board (without the rubber matting) Reason I ask is that I am refurbishing an original 41 custom that had the area outside the door chromed to look more showy. I’m hoping that a stock steel running board could be chromed to give the look desired Thank you John

I did see those reproductions, though am curious if they mimic the actual Ford look, as this is what I want to capture. I do not have an original on hand to compare, so hopefully someone has a good pic of the factory style and especially the outer most edge where the board curves

supper did you find what your looking for? i do have a pair of NOS running boards and a pair of the smoothies both have no rubber on them let me know and i can get pictures for you
