Can anyone tell me the dimensions or suggest where I can view the Dimensions for 1940 Distributor Shaft No.# 11A-12175. I need the true size for the O.D. of ,the small end and larger end of this shaft. The one I have measures .862" = This is not a common size. I also need the dimensions of the Rear Bushing No.# 18-12132. ID. and OD. of Bushing, and is it made of Oil Light materials? Thank you for any help you can offer. Thank You, Harry8750

0.4365 with a limit of 0.4355. 0.8625 with a limit of 0.861 the rear bushing 18-12123 ID=0.863 with a limit of 0.8655 You should be able to get all the bushings NOS from Southside Obsolete see Freds web site. After installation of new bushings, they should be line bored, I believe Charlie Schwendler does this.

The dimentions are immaterial as the front bushing is always a sloppy fit even with new shaft and bushing. The rear big bushing collapses slightly on installation and needs reaming or honeing out to fit on the shaft. I use an adjustable reamer on the big bushing after installing it taking very lite cuts till I have a good fit to the shaft, been doing them this way for 30 yrs. Reaming is necessary on probably 98% of them. ken ct.
