The transmission on my 1939 Deluxe fordor needs some attention. I had pieces of gear teeth drain out with my last fluid change. Problem is that I don't have space or expertise to pull the back end in order to yank the tranny. Not even sure what I'm in for once I get it out. Would love to find a good Chicago area shop that is familiar with Early Ford V8s and that could help me with this. I'm based in Wilmette but willing to travel within the greater Chicago area.
