  On a 36 the back side with the black bakelite cover with the 2 screws and 2 stud connections. Will anything pop out if I remove said cover,like springs small parts never to be found again,simple question ??? ken ct (IGNITION SWITCH)

  Ken, there is a small contact brush in there that even if dropped will be easy to locate. that's it

  Thanks ,I have a new contact piece to put in soooo !! ken ct. Hoping that's my problem,otherwise I have new cond. and resister unit I will put in there.

  Ken, you might want to carefully clean up the inner side of the bakilght backing with a very fine sandpaper on a flat surface. This will clean the stationary contacts to make good contact with the pivoting cantact arm you are replacing.
