Rebuilt my generator in my 1938 V8. I reinstalled the generator but what is the easiest way to adjust generator to put tension on the fanbelt?

Drive a wooden wedge under the gen. to lift it up or use a padded crowbar under it and tighten nut. Very easy to figure out if you think about it. Not rocket science. ken ct.

I am being cautious is what it is called and maybe could show ME some respect for being so and apparently you disrespecting most of the users on this forum.
