Does anyone have an American made 36 Ford light switch ? I would settle for a good used one. I need only the half of the switch that has the rotary contact. Not sure I want to buy any off shore parts given what I read about the quality. Call Bob @ 614 882 1335 or Email reruhl@columbus.rr.com To clarify I am talking about bottom light switch at the end of the steering column. I think the part # is 11657.

Hi Bob. I had no luck finding one for my 36,I don't think even repros. are available.I took mine apart and was able to get it to work. The point on the insulator attached to the knob shaft was worn flat, so I made up a new one.It works ok now, but I don't know how long it will last.I decided to just leave the switch in the on position,it gets power from the light switch anyway. If you don,t want to risk damaging your switch you could just attach the wires together behind the switch, repairing it was no easy task.

Sorry Bob, I thought you meant instrument light switch.
