Topic: 1937 windshield wiper arm

My 1937 Ford has a newly rebuilt Wiperman wiper motor. It works great. But the wiper arm I purchased from Bob Drake is very poor. The arm does hold very well to the motor shaft and after a little use the arm rod broke off at the small spot weld. I would like to find a much better quality arm. Any suggestions? Thanks Mike

I called the 'Wiperman' and he told me that if I could find a TRICO AL50 or AL60 wiper arm, that he could supply me with the hardware to convert my wiper motor shaft to accept the snap on TRICO arm. This hardware is a cast white metal barrel and a brass cylinder nut, which screws onto the wiper motor shaft. I think I have a AL60 arm, but am unsure. There doesn't seem to be any markings on the arm, yet there is a patent number, which I looked up and this says the arm is made by TRICO. Anyway, I will get the hardware and maybe a better blade. Thanks Mike
