I have a 41 Ford coupe ,it has a broken axle on the pass.side it has a sb chevy in it and I'm going to change the tranny driveline and rear end but I don't know what kind of rear end to get, can someone point me in the right direction? I was told that a early Mustang Or early Bronco rear end would work is this correct

Contact a company called Chassis Engineering. I believe they are back in business after a brief shutdown. They can advise you of the suspension and rear end for you to use. From a personal point of view I would use the Ford 8" rear end from a 67-70 Mustang.

I think (please double check me) the Bronco has a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern that will match your front drums if that is important to you. You might have better luck posting your question on HAMB as this site concentrates on the pre 1953 original or restored vehicles. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forums/the-hokey-ass-message-board.5/

I have a Ford Granada 8” rear in a 40 convert with 31.5 15” tires . It was mounted with chasis eng. kit. It is about 1 inch to wide and the clearance is tight. Real early bronco had a narrow 9” rear end . Good luck
