Does anyone know the trick to installing the rear ΒΌ windows in a 1937 Slantback? I've tried everything I know short of cutting the metal panel out, installing the window and regulator, then rewelding the panel in. I've also thought about using a 3" hole saw to make an access hole to be able to connect the rollers to the channel. Very frustrating. Thanks, Bob

The Tudor window may be different from mine. To remove mine I just removed the screws that hold the garnish molding in and then had to bump it a bit with a rubber mallet to loosen it up. It all came out intact. I went further and removed the glass from the molding so I could have it woodgrained. The rubber gasket crumbled off. I have more pics and measurements if you are interested. Did you remove the regulator stop screw so that the rollers move further? Tom

Aha, I am all wet. My qtr window pivots, the Post is asking about rollup qtr windows. I can't contribute anymore to this thread.

Here is a topic on doing the 36 Tudor glass, it is probably similar to your 37. You put the regulator in the side first, but don't attach it to the side plate. Then put the glass in and attach the rollers to the channel and mount the regulator. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35100 Tom

Thanks Tom, I tried that way before but couldn't get my arms inside the panel to hook the regulator arms to the channel. I'll have to give it another shot, seems the only way to do it.
