Topic: Inner tubes for a 46 Coupe

Someone, on a previous post, which I can’t find again, made a comment about buying inner tubes of better quality from a supplier, but didn’t state who the supplier was. I have 6:00x16s and will go with bias ply tires. Any help will be appreciated

I ended up buying mine from a Fram equipment dealer. The tubes from Coker needs inserts for the valve stems because they are smaller in diameter than the hole in the rim. There is two different stem diameters and you want to use the larger. I believe all the tubes are radial ones. Hope this is of some help. Happy motoring.

Flathead48. I assume you mean farm equipment dealer. Was it Tractor Supply? Are the tires on your car 6:00X16? Do you have a part number?

Should have had my coffee first, I bought them from a New Holland dealer but tractor supply may have them also, been using them for years in the 600/16 tires on my 48

You might also try posting on https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=4 I believe Bratton's has stepped up to get higher quality tubes for the Model A's and can only assume someone will soon cover the later Fords.
