  My request is information regarding my 37 sedan.Does the front fender piping contiue down to the lowest part of the grille or stops at the upper section.
Hoping some one can help with my request.

  I'm surprised that you haven't gotten an answer, as there are plenty of '37s out there. The photos I have show the "piping" (fender welt) carried along the top of the fender and ending under the frame of the grille where the hood side panel joins the grille and fender.

  According to the Club's 1937 Ford Book, chapter 2 page 4, "A strip of 3/16 inch black beaded Pyroxylin anti-squeak welting was attached to each side of the grill with drive nails and extended the full height of the grill." There are several pictures in the book, the clearest of which is in chapter 5 page 2, showing this arrangement.

The same anti-squeak is used along the top of the front fenders, where the bottom of the hood side panels sit on the fenders.
