  I don"t have all the wiper system that came with my 1948 Ford 2dr sedan.I have the blades,motor with attached arms, but nothing between motor and dash knob,I would like to rebuild or just lubricate motor,do i pull motor and wiper arms out together from under dash.Sorry to be so long winded,just my nature.Johna

  The wiper motor control is through a vacuum valve attached to the dash. The P/N for the Trico design is 21A-17470A.

The arms under the instrument panel are held onto the motor with clips that have a spring between them. You just move the clip until the larger hole allows it to slip off of the shaft. Then the arms will come off of the motor and you can remove the motor from the car.
