Topic: '36 break pedal bushing replacemint

I am new to this forum. I have a 1936, 5window rumble seat coupe, that I have owned since I was a teen ager and my great uncle bought new.
I have the floor boards out to do some other work and noticed that the break pedal bushing is very bad. I'm looking for advice on the best way to replace that bushing.
Thanks in advance Bart

Remove the pedal from the shaft and drive out the old bushing. Carefully drive a new bushing into place and reinstall the pedal on the shaft. There usually is enough wear in the pedal shaft to allow the new bushing to slip back on the shaft. If there is still wobble in the pedal, you will likely have to replace the shaft. Many owners neglected the grease fitting on each pedal, causing the pedal to move so far that it rubbed the floorboard. When I started the restoration of my '47, someone had scr*w*d rubber to the pedal hole to keep the pedal from rubbing. If you don't have a bushing driver, most shops can do kit for you for little or nothing.
