Has anyone out there in early Ford land had experience in adding "swing pedals" to an early Ford?
Any info good or bad appreciated.

It has been done, mainly to gain clearance for dual exhaust.
The down side is that you will have to reinforce the firewall to keep it from flexing. While it makes the master cylinder easier to fill, now you have to look at the ugly thing every time you open the hood. The clutch linkage will also have to be fabricated or converted to hydro. On some cars or particularly trucks you may find the angle of the pedals uncomfortable. IMHO it's not worth the trouble.

Paul is correct. The firewall definitely needs to be reinforced. It was never designed for those type of pedals. Why would you want to do it anyway? If you ever plan to resell your vehicle I can tell you those non stock pedals will reduce the value considerably.
