I had my 59A thermo cleaned (looks brandy new) they had to drill
the two oil galley plugs. They replaced the fuel pump bushing.
Problem 1 , pump bushing way too small bought a new bushing still
too small, I can't put the cam bearing in until thats fixed guess I got
to drill and ream.
Oil galley plugs? they do not exist anywhere. I have Dorman
plugs but stick out too far for the idler gear cover the front plug
looks metric to me. I'm dead stuck.
this is what I need sam

I would give H&H Flathead a call and see if they can provide one. You can't be the only one that had to drill out the plug.

The fuel pump bushings often have to be reamed. Use care as you don't want it too big as you can loose oil pressure. Be sure to clean up all the shavings.
For next time tell your machine shop the oil galley plugs have a sealant on them like locktite. We have found you often need to heat them a bit with a torch to remove them.
