  Here you go > 1928-1931 Distributor - Washer .045 Thick (Fiber) - NOT A FLATHEAD V8 PART

[A-12181]

1928-1931 Distributor - Washer .045 Thick (Fiber)

.015" thick fiber washer used to take up play between the shaft sleeve and bottom of distributor housing.

Don: The cam and weight assembly, called "distributor cam retard" was originally marked 11A-12181 and was obsoleted and replaced by the 11A-12185. That is why both numbers appear on the part. The 12127 refers to the distributor used in the 37-40 cars, and the 39-40 trucks. That weight/cam assembly was also used in the later 21A and 59A distributors. It was Ford's policy to reuse parts across years, but often parts that look alike have subtle differences. The best reference to identify parts, and to learn which were replaced, is the "green book", a master parts manual.
