flatheadfan posted the following...prompting a question ... is this a relatively simple application for a 41 year car? Thanks. Assuming that the brakes are mechanically "sound." I would add a vacuum booster. A '54-'57 Ford vacuum booster is an easy add-on using existing frame holes. I have done this to my '35 ('47 brakes), and have some super stoppers that rival my newer daily drivers. Tom Attached FileIM000828-21.JPG (115 Kbytes)

ED- Should be easier adapting the vacuum booster to a '41 than on a '35 (more room). Depending where you locate the booster (can be anywhere), I would estimate that the entire procedure shouldn't take much more than a hour, if that. If interested send me a PM with your direct email and I can give you more details. Oh yes, for some reason, the picture doesn't show on your posting. Tom
