Ordered overhaul parts to totally rebuild a 1934 6 volt 3 brush generator. Recieved the parts and brushes. I noticed that one brush was much thinner than the other two. Does anyone know in which brush holder the thin brush should be installed? #1Grounded brush--#2 Moveable center brush--#3 or third brush??? This vehicle has a factory installed radio, so it has the larger two coil cutout/ regulator that is oblong shaped. Does anyone know if the newer electronic cutout will work for this application?
