none of the books I have list a replacement fuel gauge any idea where I could find one? for a 34 ford.

I don't think anybody reproduces the stock 34 Fuel Guage. The options are: #1 Place a Wanted Ad on this web site Classifieds #2 Watch Ebay #3 Place a wanted ad on Ford Barn http://www.fordbarn.com/v8swap/ #4.
