two separate questions: - how do I remove the inner door handle in my 1936 Ford Cabriolet, -and does the Forum have a search method for old Forum discussions? (as I suspect my first question has been asked many times before). If there is a method, how do I find It?

Searching the V-8 Forum is very easy. Sign in. Then click on Forum from the menu on the left column. Once there you will see blue boxes on the top right. Click on Search. Enter the topic name in the first box (example window channel) Then change In the Past to ALL There is no need to fill in any other information. Then click Search. You should get all the topics that have the key words in them. As for removing your inside door handle --- Take a flat blade (putty knife) and push on the door panel near the handle. Once pushed back you should be able to see the inside of the handle -- now look for a small cylindrical pin. You will need a small punch to push out this pin. Once the pin is removed, the handle should pull straight out. Web Administrator
