I see where some people with air cleaners like mine have it facing backwards. I there a reason for this other than maybe they like that look better? I am assuming the lip on the can embossed with "Front" was intended to keep errant rain & water splash/spray out when facing forward? This message was edited by ibshane on 1-22-18 @ 10:04 AM

My guess is that it is oriented that way for air flow, not to keep water out. I am thinking it does not look "better" while facing the wrong way with the word "FRONT" facing the rear. . . . 78-730B This message was edited by TonyM on 1-22-18 @ 10:10 AM
