Hello, My 37 Fordor Deluxe has an ash tray in the rear face of the front seat. My dilemma is that I had the seat reupholstered and they covered up where the ash tray goes. Now I have to cut into the upholstery and make an opening just the right size in just the right location. I can blindly feel the opening but don't recall the details on how the ash tray mounts into that space. Does anyone have a picture showing the ash tray mounting structure and how the tray is mounted into it? Help is much appreciated, gregg

Bingo, you guys are extremely helpful. I was guessing what to do next. Just installed the dome lights and switch. It took some trimming of the B pillar upholstery from MAC's, but not bad. Again, the pics you sent and the FB link will be instrumental in installing the ash tray tomorrow. If I can ever return the favor... I have a 37 Tudor, Fordor and two Sedan Deliveries. I am hooked on this year for some reason. gregg

Thanks for the high resolution pics. I now need to search around for the mounting plate and two screws. I hope to locate the two mounting holes in the seat frame also. gregg

Once the mounting plate is in the seat back hole you can find the screw holes with an awl or ice pick.
