  Can anybody post a picture of what a 1948 Ford 2dr sedan firewall should look like,I don"t have part number. but it"s the piece that holds fuel line to firewall to keep from vibrating,Johna

  You mean the fuel line firewall clip?
Part number 18-9296 -oops -- says 1932-to- 1947
Carpenter has them in stock .
You can get the attachment hardware from Roy Nacewicz Enterprises.

There are a few out there --
There are small indents in the firewall that the dimples on the clip fit into.
If I remember correctly, there is a D nut in the firewall panel.

  Saw one of those gas line clamps on Ebay last night. Mine fastens with one large sheet metal screw (may or may not be OE).

  It attaches with a pan head sheet metal screw.
