Topic: 1938 won't start

We've determined that the solenoid is hooked up properly and had coil rebuilt and condenser has been test but can't get it to turn over. Do not have head lights tested spark but very weak.

I don't think you're giving us enough information. You say that you "can't get it to turn over" but that you have "very weak' spark. How can that be? You won't get any spark if the engine is not 'turning over'....

  It doesn't start

Okay, so it is turning over but with weak spark. Try shorting out the resistor under the dash by putting a jumper wire across it and then try to start it....

Do you have a volt meter, is the battery wired positive ground?
