I have had a lot of problems in getting the horns to work consistently. Having redone the wiring and next the relay I have discovered that one horn works most of the time and the other seldom works. Took the cover off the back and there is quite a bit of corrosion. Questions- Is it a simple thing to dismantle them and clean up and reset or should I find a horn rebuilder? Has anyone got a set that works perfectly and would sell it? There is a rebuilder in Wisc. but he works on 12v post war. I need pointers on diy or have rebuilt or buy . pmonty

Sand the points and reset the horns. They will work. Mine did. This message was edited by mrtexas on 11-26-17 @ 6:41 PM

Did you take everything apart or only the points. Most parts are rusted. pmonty
