Just Google "vacuum gauges for sale". I've had mine for many years. They are sold in kits for testing both vacuum and fuel pressure.

There are several kits on Amazon with good reviews.

A vacuum guage is to a mechanic what a stethoscope is to a doctor.

  JohnA

I have a new, unopened, U.S.General brand vacuum gauge/fuel pump tester kit you can have if you want, for the cost of mailing. Send a PM if you want it.

A few years ago I bought a cheap ($12 or $15 I think) kit from a swap meet vendor, just because the price was good and I might need one some day. Put it on the shelf and forgot it. A year or two later I was at a swap meet and saw a kit for sale, decided I should buy it because the price was good and I might need one some day. When I went to put that second one on the shelf it hit me why it looked so familiar. Same as what was already on the shelf! Duh!

Since I got my Ford last year I have had call to use it several times. Good tool to have.

But I don't need two kits. Duh!

JohnA: Vac gauge definitely an asset. I use mine for both fuel pressure and vac testing. As you may already know, it can show important info including condition of head gaskets, valve train etc etc. In case you don't have an instruction sheet and vac reading chart the "Second Chance Garage" web site has a good one.
