Any of you guys know of a good way to securely attach a 3-point seat belt shoulder anchor to the door post on a 37 Fordor Sedan?

Julianos sells three point belt sets. Check out their web site. There are instructions on how they are mounted.

As you have already stated the shoulder mount will be the issue. The mount must be anchored into something substantial, wood won't do. Most conversions that I have seen involved fabrication of a threaded mount and welding.

Be very careful in what you anchor to. The floor panel and probably the door posts were never designed to withstand the force if you actually have a situation where you need the restraint of the seatbelts.

Here is a link to a thread on the "Fordbarn" that
covers the full answer to your question.
Pay particular attention to attachment to
the "B" pillar strength that 42 wagon mentions.

I was referring to 42 wagons post of 11-22 @ 0720 that appeared just above my post in this thread. The fordbarn thread fleshed out the info you need for this installation.

Think he's referring to 42wagon's post above in this thread.

Here is a link to a Hagerty article on installing seat belts.
