Topic: modern spark plug wires

I'm dressing up the otherwise stock motor on my 46 flathead and want to use colored wires which pretty much means modern. What are the right wires from the standpoint of performance, reliability and longevity? Appreciate anyone's help.

Use stranded copper wires and solder the ends with an electronic solder (rosin core).

how would a set of old time style chrome wire looms and black wire look ?or your color choice of wires
just a suggestion, 37RAGTOPMAN
The MODERN WIRES HI OUTPUT usually are 9MM and will NOT FIT the original FORD DIST CAP,
but maybe they have the different color wires in 8mm
just be carefull.

Thanks guys. I'm using the original metal wire looms which I've painted gloss black. The motor is gloss Ford red and all peripherals gloss black or stainless steel. I want to use shiny black wires but can only find them with companies that sell colored wired. Good point on the size. The ones I'm looking at are Taylor spiro 8mm. Seems like overkill on performance, cost and type of wire but can't find anything else.
