Just visited the online store? I am interested in the 1941-48 ford book but there are no details on what is covered in the book. John

Quite frankly it contains most everything you need to know about that time period of Fords. I can personally vouch that it's worth every penny and is a quality document. Buy it. To list everything that it covers would overwhelm this forum. If there's something specific that you're looking for ask that question and any of us that have the book can answer whether or not it's covered. Regardless, you will find much information in it beyond what you may specifically be looking for. It is not a repair manual in any sense of the word - it is a restorers document that will lead you to the correct originality for cars of the time period. Well worth it. It covers just about all you need to complete a correct restoration. I have a '46 but also have the books from other years, they are a wealth of info.

I'll echo what Steve said. The book goes into great detail about how these cars were assembled with sections on interior, exterior, engine, chassis, accessories, etc. Also, it is indispensable in learning about running changes during a model year and characteristics to distinguish between years - especially important from 46-47-48.
