Finnaly got the bottom pin out,boy was it in there, didn't hurt the key switch. However the switch still don't seem to want to come out?? Also is there any thing I need to be careful about getting the on off switch disassembled? It is broken at the hand flipper. I have already removed the back and the top spring and ball?? Any help needed. Thanks

I'm goung to take the one fellas advise and use the door lock. It looks like u back the screw off from the inside side door jam? If so looks like someone already tried and the screw head is broke off 1 side of the screw. I guessing Drill and easyout or is there another way to get the passanger door lock out? Thanks

The door lock set screw is 10-32 good luck getting the screw drilled out. I suggest heat from the outside which means taking the door panel apart and possible damage to the paint on the door skin or wait and soak the ignition lock cylinder and the surrounding casting with penetrating lube. Let it soak in and then gently tap the face of the lock cylinder with a soft mallet. PATIENCE is your friend! There can be old paint and rust holding the cylinder in place. A key blank can be used to get the cylinder to wiggle back and forth in the casting a good start. I do not believe there is any access from the rear, on the 36, if so a small diameter pin punch could be used to tap the cylinder out, but it is best to check. DO NOT HAMMER just tap. Do you have the column out of the vehicle?

No I don't have the colum out, Terry sent a diagram which greaty helps, has photos. I did finally get the pin out 9was a real bear, took advice drilled and taped then used long screw and nut to pull out) under the switch itself but the switch still hasn't come out. I thought with the pin out the switch would come out without the key, mabey it is just stuck, I've tried to wiggle it out but not out yet. I'll try some more this morning. Thanks,I sure appreaciate all the help and advice!
