Hershey was great this year, me and my two sons found Mr. Norman R. Runk from Mechanicsburg, P.A. He is the one that has the original black 1940 ford deluxe coupe that is unbelievable, and he was willing to let me photograph it inside and out. We saw it last year in the drizzling rain, and I was so excited that I didn't remember to get his name. This year in the sun, we were able to really check it out. It still retains all it's original part's. From looking inside the trunk, you can see the part number sprayed on the left side of the division board behind the spare. You can see the spare mount with the arms straight up and down mid to late 40. The correct inner trunk structure, You can see both front and rear bumpers with the two ribs on the inside. The correct tail light bezels with the Duolamp embossing on the left side and correct Duolamp tail light lens. The plain radiator cap with tiny 01A I think in the handle part of it. Original fender welting, Trunk mat exc. exc. exc.In the restored section of the show, their were two more 40 coupes, a Maroon deluxe, and a Washington blue standard, that was as right as rain this is a AACA- winner and a Maroon 40 convertible, a 40 woodie and a light grey 39 convertible, and a ton of early ford v-8 cars everywhere!
