I have been trying to rebuild my 37 ford 6 volt headlights. I have tried several of the standard suppliers but their products can't even hold a bulb without falling apart. I am thinking of scavenging the wiring from the new parts and putting them into the old housing. Any other thoughts or suggestions??

The 35-39 Ford used the 2330 head light bulb and the identical bulb socket. Often found NOS at swap meets with poor condition wires. Wiring harness are available new.
