As a general rule when you are bolting the fenders, inner fenders etc. do you have the hex head of the bolts showing as you look under the fender or the nuts?

I know this answer --- thanks to Mr. Don Rogers................ The bolt heads are inside the frame -- so the nuts and washers are visible as you look into the fender from the outside. I forgot to take good notes when disassembling, but it makes sense.

Bruce, I'm pretty sure I understand your explanation, but I think I might be able to clarify it for others: The bolts drop in from the top when appropriate, which makes the task a one man job. Alan

Well Alan, I will tell you that I did have to use a box end wrench on the bolt heads to make sure they were secure. I am sure that the assembly employees used a high speed tool to tighten them up without the wrench on the inside, but that's the difference between a personal restoration and the need to get them out the door and sold.

Thanks guys. I was having a devil of a time trying to get nuts and washers on inside the frame rail!
