I have been running my 40 for 15 years,and 30000 miles. It has an electric pump and an SHO v6. Gasp. Well the pump started whining and then skipping at higher speeds. With a new pump installed the fuel line vibrated all the way to the front of the car and still skipped.long story short, I pushed a stone out of the line in the tank, i have a locking gas cap and I am the only to ever put gas in this car since 1965. Something to think about when someone starts to have trouble with high speed misses .
