this is the light bulb from the 1936 radio head. Appears to be a BA9S but what is the actual number. there seem to be a lot of different ones.

What you have pictured does not look correct as it has a "T" glass bulb, it may be a replacement. If you look on the web you will find the BA9S is a description of the base of the bulb only and doesn't tell you much about the bulbs electrical characteristics. The 35 radio used a 55 bulb, 7.V, 0.41A only 2CP. Using todays description of the base of the 55 it too is BA9S. This message was edited by 40 Coupe on 9-2-17 @ 9:37 AM

As 40 coupe indicated, you radio head takes a #55 (2cp) bulb, Ford part # 48-18825. Here is a size comparison of the 55 bulb with the 51 and larger 63, 67, and 81 bulbs.
