Topic: 36 coupe window ?

I have the "glass run" kit to install the windows in the doors of my 36 5 window. There are "felt" liners that attach to the door and to the garnish molding. Is there anything that is supposed to go across the top of the door to cushion the window when it's in the full "up" position?

  Tom-

I think I know what you are referring to. There should be a "U-shape" channel that starts at the wide vertical channel that is on opening side of the door. It runs across the top of the opening and continues down to the wide vertical channel on the hinge side of the door. The channel is held by small sheet metal screws to the door frame.
