I am mounting a radiator in my 41, I put in a flathead V8 out of a 47. I purchased a 3 core aluminum for a 41. I also purchased lower hoses for a 41. The radiator is sitting too low. What do I need to do ?? Thanks

Call the vendor that sold you the radiator and ask him to provide one with the correct mounting. You paid for a replacement that is supposed to fit, so the vendor should provide one. Tom

Where did you buy the radiator. A reputable supplier will fix the problem. If you bought one of the cheap radiators that I see on e-Bay you may be out of luck. There's a reason why they are cheap.

Thanks for the response, the radiator is not sitting too low, someone installed a flex fan that is too big and tall, that wants to chop upper hoses off. I am going to search for the correct fan.

The correct fan for your 41 Coupe is crank mounted. The 47 fan is mounted on a hub that mounts to the generator mount. You will also need the crank pulley for the 39-41 V-8 along with the fan for a 39-41 Ford. Tom
