i installed a directional light kit. I have a 6 volt system on the car with a negative ground. the bulbs and flasher are 6 volt. I have LED lights on the front signals and used the original tail lights for the back. Problem is the directional lights flash fast and the back lights are not bright. How can I improve these problems?

You will either have tpo foimnd a 6 volt flasher or add a resistor to each of the front LED lights.

I have a 6 volt flasher. If I install resisters to the front LED lights will this slow down the rear directional lights and make them brighter?

I am sorry that my previous response was not clear. I was on the way to a meet when I typed it and left out words and bad spelling.

Adding the resister to each of the front lights will increase the load that the flasher sees and make it flash slower.

You could also try to find a flasher for LED bulbs. Try googling for one.

You could also add a light socket under the hood or dash for each side and use a 1129 bulb as the load. Mount the socket so the light can be seen through the louvers.
