Topic: 1941 Ford Pickup Dash

I have a 1941 Ford pickup that belonged to my wife's father (was a farm truck). It had many modifications over the years but one thing I am uncertain of is the dash. I see 3 holes in the middle of the dash and believe the round ones are for the choke and throttle controls, but there is one in between these two which is rectangular. What goes there? When I got the truck there was a temp gage mounted there, but I know this was an add on. David

That was a lot smaller of a hole at one time. The headlamp switch had been mounted there originally.

Thanks, headlight switch was mounted under dash on starter button side when I got it! David
